Medicare Readiness - The scope of the project is to cater the requirement to implement changes to support and administer the 2011 annual benefits. This includes supporting miscellaneous claims and adjudication needs. The current scenario is that when a provider bills a member for same date of service for some of the services in two different claims; copay is taken on both the claims. Ideally it should take copay for one claim only. The proposed solution is to set an edit for Medicare advantage claim when there is a history claim with same member and provider with same date of service, service code and the history claim with Pay action code is either R00000 or P10000 has copay taken and to pass this edit to adjudication so that for the claims with this particular edit, copay calculation is skipped.

ESI Migration - Due to the sale of the ProPBM and ProServ pharmacy systems to ESI, a migration of these groups and members needs to take place to move all eligibility information over to ESI. The go live date for claims to be paid on ESI is 07/01/2010. This includes commercial CDHP (LITES) and non-CDHP (including SSB) business on the first wave. The Med D members will not migrate until 01/01/2011.
