Oncor is an Electricity Distribution Company with its headquarters in Texas, USA. It is one of the largest electricity distribution companies in the USA by turnover and has a market value of about £75 billion (August 2008). The Oncor Project service enables client to manage its services between customers efficiently and properly. As a DW&BI team member we would need to create Data warehouse solution for the whole system where real time as well as the historical reporting requirement would be catered. We have created a DWH and ETL architecture and solution for the system where Informatica 8.6 would be used for ETL needs and Business object would be used for reporting purposes.
