Prioritized and directed the allocation of 500 international engineering personnel between global Engine Management System (EMS) technology development and applications to optimize growth. Led the selection and pursuit plans to win new business. Conducted technology reviews with international customers.
• Awarded strategic multi-million dollar production and advanced technology development contracts achieving annual revenue growth of 16%. 2008 results in excess of $700M. Managed and directed global engineering teams to successfully execute advanced development project deliverables. For example:

Managed product and process engineering group; responsible for fuel handling products for Ford and GM Holden applications. Worked cooperatively with sales account managers to ensure customer program requirements are satisfied.
• Organized and chaired multi-functional meetings with engineering teams to identify, communicate and apply analytical and problem solving skills to solve technical issues enabling the introduction of thermoforming technology for Ford future model programs.
• Developed products and technical proposals for fuel modules and fuel tanks resulting in the award of $30M in new business.
• Conducted comprehensive technical assessment of fuel indication system issue, avoiding $200M recall exposure.

Led engineering activities for special project involving five Delphi Divisions and managed by Delphi board member to grow business with Japanese automakers.

DESIGN RELEASE ENGINEER – Delphi Corp. (1990-1993)
Managed all activities related to the design, development and production release of the chassis fuel system for a new GM vehicle. Resolved system related cost, function and content issues for GM chassis fuel system components. Chaired development team that developed evaporative emission integrity diagnostic used on all GM vehicles.
PRODUCT AND PROCESS ENGINEER – Delphi Europe. (1989)
Directed manufacturing start-up of electric fuel pump manufacturing line. Secured and validated local sources for components. Served and the lead engineer of Opel, Land Rover and Volvo fuel system proposals.
