WORK EXPERIENCE:

Under Graduate Research Assistant March 2006 – March2008

•Project Title: APHONIC ARTICULATOR-A Tool to aid the speaking and hearing impaired

•The actions of the speaking impaired individual are captured by sensors which is then fed to the Micro Controller Unit (MCU) and converted to type compatible forms. In the MCU there are pre fed letters for each of the action, so based on the actions detected, corresponding letters are deciphered which are translated to audible format and visual format.

•Developed requirement specification, analysis and design documentation

•Divided the project into various modules and assigned timelines

•Lead the project team for a period of 9 months, coordinating various activities like project presentation at various conferences.

Software Developer-Voluntary Position June 2007-July 2008

•Implemented software for Payroll services and also developed a self-tutoring software for the benefit of the under-privileged
