After my Graduation, having technical experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor with Sobha Developers Ltd, one of the Leading Developers in India.

From 2010 September onwards, I joined for Post Graduation in ‘Computer Aided Design of Structures’ (CADS) in P.E.S College of Engineering, Mandya, In 2012 May successfully completed my post graduation in Distinction.

After my Post Graduation, I am working as Assistant Engineer – Structures & Special Projects in Consulting Engineering Services (India) Private Limited from June 2012. It is time for me to widen my horizons and take on greater responsibilities and challenges in other organizations.

M.Tech Dissertation Work: “Effect of Brick Infill and Shear Wall Stiffnesses in the Design of RC Framed Irregular Buildings”

The aim of this investigation is to study the response of reinforced concrete frame when subjected to both lateral and vertical loads in the irregular building with brick infill walls and shear walls.

The other various parameters of this work include:

Analysis of multi bay, multi-storey infilled frames with brick masonry an infill and shear wall, The effect of irregular distribution of mass on the seismic response of structures, The infilled frames are subjected to lateral loads which are calculated as per IS 1893(Part 1): 2002 for the seismic zones V & different types of soils and worst case of wind as per IS 875(Part 3). The frame is analyzed by finite element method of analysis using the software ETABS.

Industrial Training:

As the part of partial fulfillment of M.Tech degree, I underwent two months of Industrial training at R K Associates, Mysore, on the topic of “Analysis and Design of RCC Structures using STAAD.Pro”. During the training, (C+G+5) multi-storeyed apartment has been designed.

Academic Project Work in BE: Analysis and Design of D.C. Office Building (G+2), Mandya.

In this project, Analysis of the building has been carried out using available commercial software STAAD.Pro V8i and also results are checked using manually, “Kani’s Rotation Contribution Method”. Kani’s method is an extension of the slope deflection method. We have designed the whole structure using IS 456: 2000 “Limit state Design” and with the aid of “Design Aids for Reinforced Concrete(SP-16) in successive chapters.
