AV Onsite Technician York Telecom - Thousand Oaks, CA 5/2008 – 5/2011

• Provided in person technical and client support for multiple AV technologies to scientific staff at Amgen’s Thousand Oaks and Seattle Campuses. Technologies include:

o Video Conferencing / Telepresence

o Audio Conferencing

o In-room Presentation and Collaboration (NetMeeting / WebEx / Livemeeting)

o Webcasting

o Outdoor audio / video PA and presentation setups

• Responsible for preventative maintenance and performed extensive break/fix functions in support of maintenance activities at the Amgen Thousand Oaks campus for 9 buildings / 45 rooms.

• Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure successful scientific events

• Install, troubleshoot and repair audio visual and IT equipment as necessary

• Track through completion all trouble tickets and equipment repairs for areas of responsibility

• Working relief Help Desk relief operator to act as a dispatcher when the usual operator is on-break, at-lunch or on extended hours.

• Subcontracted to York Telecom as on-site AV support at Amgen – Seattle campus. Accepted full time position with York Telecom on May 2008.

• Worked on at team to design and install a data center server farms. Was responsible the team for exceeding daily/weekly/monthly goals.
