Primary responsibilities include: resolving service requests (email, inbound calls from an ACD, chat-based) via an incident tracking system; managing critical tier I Windows 2003/2008 servers running on both traditional and virtualized (VMware solution) servers; per project specifications build new servers and instances upon request; performed preventative maintenance and patching; proactive tuning of both production, staging and development servers; troubleshooting hardware issues and coordinating with vendors for repair/replacement; and generating daily, weekly, and monthly metrics for regulatory compliance.

Senior Production Services Analyst

As a production support analyst, served as part of the production support team for two critical COTS applications – MV-RS (a client server Windows 2003 decentralized application) and PB-ARCS (an Oracle application served on HP UNIX Servers using co-located SAN’s). Though separate COTS applications, these systems worked in tandem to aggregated meter billing units and served as a meter data clearing house for 4.2 million customers records. Configuration and troubleshooting for both systems required advanced coding in either Unix and windows shell scripting. Additionally, MV-RS had a pool of over 500 dedicated workstations and 2,000 custom windows mobile OS handheld devices that required full service support (troubleshooting, programming, repair, and replacement.)
