2000 – 2012 Maintenance Supervisor, City of Elgin Water Department Provided supervision for up to 15 in house union workers, and outside contractual labor to maintain 150 million dollar city owned and operated drinking water treatment and storage infrastructure, consisting of multiple municipal water treatment plants and related facilities. Established, input and maintained equipment maintenance data base using Naviline/HTE system. Developed and implemented yearly budget. Assigned, scheduled, directed, and inspected the work of mechanics and other staff engaged in servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing equipment used in water treatment plants, lift stations, wells, storage tanks, and reservoirs. Administered daily progress meetings. Created specifications, bid documents and council memorandum for large projects and capital acquisitions.
