Working with a diversified team created an Activity Dictionary describing all work. Using the Activity Dictionary conducted an Activity Based Costing Survey. Using the costing data provided by the survey established work processes to reengineer for improvement. During the “Discovery Phase” of Reengineering mapped the “As-Is” Process. In the “Redesign Phase” of Reengineering, created the “to-be” New Process, Organization, and Implementation Plan.
1992 – 1997 Security Specialist- Responsibilities included:

Processed Questions for Sensitive Personnel (QSPs) for security clearances, processed terminations of security clearances, input data on the government clearance database (CPCI) to Operations of Personnel Management (OPM), transcribed interviews using Lanier transcribing machines and Word Perfect, scheduled work load for three subordinates, integrated with government personnel, and conducted employee appraisals.
Major Accomplishments – Developed all necessary forms to be used in the processing of Security Clearances using Word Perfect. Organized and developed a complete job description with these forms and necessary procedures for government personnel to use in processing Security Clearances.

Reported to the Financial Operations Manager, Laboratory Planning. Performed duties of an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager. Prepared calendar (using Calendar Creator), scheduled all meetings, and completed other secretarial duties. Conducted special studies and projects to assist management.
