Role – Quality Analyst
Citicards.com Account Online provides online services for the Citibank credit card customers. These services include account summary, unbilled activity, past statements, online payments etc. Objective of this application is to provide a web-based credit card management facility that allows the credit card customers of Citibank to access information online using the data captured by the International Business Systems (IBS). The scope of the project includes the maintenance and enhancement of the existing credit card application.
The following were the responsibilities undertaken:
• Interacted with end users to obtain specific system requirements
• Created the strategy document that defines the test environment, phases of testing, entrance and exit criteria into different phases of testing in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Reviewed business requirements documents to document business rules and test plan.
• Involved in writing the test procedure document for the application.
• Created functionality test cases after establishing critical values and workflow.
• Prepared test data for system testing

Fixed Income Re-Engineering is used to maintain the Fixed Income Terms and Conditions (T&C). This solution accepts Incoming Feeds from various upstream clients and as well as maintain data accuracy and correctness and delivers to downstream clients. This solution has four major components and they are File Processing Framework (FPF), Ingestion, Data Analyst Tools (DAT) and Distribution. FPF processes the incoming feeds from upstream clients and stores the data in staging database for processing. Ingestion processes the staged data for consistency and accuracy against pre-defined business rules. Analysts use DAT to make corrections on the incoming feeds data, if any violations and also DAT allows modify/create the T&C data. Distribution will distribute the processed data to downstream clients in various formats as required. This solution has been developed as generic solution to fit for similar content processing (Extract, Transform, Load and Distribute) requirements.
The following were the responsibilities undertaken:
• Involved in analyzing system specifications, design, development and execution of test plans and test cases for manual testing and automated testing.
• Created criteria for data conditioning needed for automated and manual testing.
• Created test scripts for all online leasing testing and classified sections for manual and automated testing.
• Reviewed manual testing methods.
• Developed and wrote a suite of test scripts that included acceptance, functional and regression test cases using Win Runner.

This product aims at automation of Hospital Management with centralized administration of several departments. It deals with the activities in a hospital that involve services to patients and the related transactions. This is a client server system that offers some flexible features like ability to access any part of the system from any node by authorized users. It offers centralized storage management of data at server by rendering different services to each part of the system. This system serves the requirements of different departments as well as the requirements of the system as a whole. The goal of the system is to bring down the workload in different departments with increased efficiency and speed up the activities.
The following were the responsibilities undertaken:
• Review the requirements gathered from different Hospitals and provide input for preparation of analysis documents.
• Attend project meetings during design-implementation phase as needed
• Develop and submit estimates

The software, Material Management System, (MMS) is developed to automate inventory management function of Material Support Department (MSD), of Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam. MSD is tasked with the responsibility of meeting the logistic requirements of Naval Dockyard. The major activities comprise of provisioning spares, Naval stores, fuels and gases to various production centres of the yard. The supply chain is primarily dependent on receiving the items from Material Organization (An external source). In addition, this department also undertakes procurement through local trade to meet urgent requirements. The major functions, therefore, encompass forecasting, demanding, receipt, accounting and distribution. This software establishes automated forecasting, accounting and monitoring system in order to render quality services to the customer. This software would involve automation of functions of the sections viz., Russian Stock Control, Naval Stock Control, Permanent Stores, Clothing, Stationery, Zonal Stores and Administration.

The main aim of the project was to automate the student’s information right from their admissions to their examination details, attendance details and their progress periodically. Student Attendance System involves keeping track of all the student attendance details. It contains the day wise attendance details of the students. It generates reports like daily report, periodical report etc., This module greatly helps the management in tracking the students who are irregular and hence take necessary actions against them. Interview the office staff to get the inputs on the existing process.
