Project1: Design and fabrication of dual co-axial rotor UAV (VTOL) using RC.

DESCRIPTION:

Vertical Take- Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft are able to take-off with the agility of a helicopter while retaining the efficiency and speed of an airplane during conventional flight.

This report describes the design and construction of a RC VTOL model aircraft based on coaxial helicopter. Ultimately two-blade fixed-pitch propellers were chosen to be mounted radially to brushless motors via a planetary gearbox. These motors are controlled using an

Electronic speed controller and powered by on-board Lithium Polymer batteries.
