I have operated CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls. I have been setting up and operating Automatic Multi-Spindle Screw Machines for over 20 years. I have been working in Manufacturing for over 30 years. I have operated a variety of machines over the years, mills, manual lathes, drill presses, boring machines. I have worked with a variety of materials, inconel, hardened steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, copper etc. I have worked in the Automotive and Gas & Oil Industries. I am looking for a permanent full-time position. I will RELOCATE. I can work overtime. I would like and welcome the opportunity for advancement and to learn new things. Screw Machine Set-Up Operator:
I operated CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls. I set-up, operated and maintained Conomatic and Acme Gridley multi-spindle screw machines. I performed troubleshooting on the machines. I made parts with inside and outside threads in a variety of sizes. I had to hold very tight tolerances. I gauged the parts using precision gauges as well as visual. I worked with a variety of materials, inconel, aluminum. steel, brass and many more. I know how to read blueprints and schematics.

Screw Machine Operator:
I operated and maintained 3 Torno multi-spindle screw machines. I operated Davenport multi-spindle when needed. I am making fuel injector parts, some with threads. I do my own tool changes as well as adjustments. I sharpen my own tools. I trouble shoot my own machines. I train operators as well as assist them on their machines. I have to hold very tight tolerances in microns. I use precision gauges, mics, calipers, profilometer, ball gauges, etc. I use SPC. I know how to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. I have worked with pneumatics. I have over 20 years on the job screw machine experience in both setting up and operating. I have over 30 years in manufacturing and machine shop experience.

Screw Machine Set-Up Operator:
I operate and set-up Acme Gridley multi-spindle screw machines in various models as New Britain multi-spindle in various models. I loaded my own machines lifting from 20 to 80 pounds. I use precision gauges, mics, calipers along with charts and graphs. I can read and interpret blue prints and schematics. I have worked with pneumatics. I was responsible for making all adjustments and repairs and tool changes and performed trouble-shooting on my machines as well as on other operator’s machines. I trained operators on the machines. I was a lead man. I sharpened my own tools. My set-up experience includes, but is not limited to, speeds and feeds, cam changes, hydraulics. I have worked with die heads, role supports, and box turners. Also resetting gibs, dead stops and main slide cam pressure. I have worked with all types of threads, threading devices, pneumatic and straddle rolls, thread chasing. I have ran a wide variety of machines, including drill presses, boring machines, milling machines.
