Evaluated pre-construction and tender documents submitted by the bidders. During construction; checked variation orders, monthly billings of works completed by the contractors, time extensions, prepared monthly progress reports and responses to all queries from the contractors as well as from the client. Compiled and consolidated all construction data and other pertinent documents of the project.

As Bridge Engineer: (Feb. 1989 – June 1999)

Inspected bridges proposed for rehabilitation and/or replacement by the Department of Public Works and Highways (Client). Evaluated present condition of these bridges and recommended appropriate action whether partial rehabilitation or total replacement are necessary based on the degree of damages and deterioration. Monitor progress of works during the construction of these bridges and see to it that all design specifications were conformed and implemented. Checked variation orders and monthly billings of completed works submitted by the contractors.

Involved in various feasibility study projects. Supervised the conduct of field investigations including inventory of existing facilities and its conditions and gathered other technical information. Studied the hydrological conditions in the project areas to assess and determine the adequacy of drainage facilities. Involved in various detailed engineering design projects. Responsible in the preparation of cost estimates, bill of materials, drainage quantities and other specifications of the project.
