Project Introduction : Have been a part of Production Support team in an Insurance project.We used to get monthly enhancements where the client gives Business and Functional Requirements. We have to understand the Business requirements and then how to make changes to the Datawarehouse so that it should not impact the whole functionality of the semantic applications and downstream applications.

Responsibilties : According to the business and functional requirements we make changes in the database and how it is impacting the whole application. A good analysis is required and then we have to check the functionality of the application. We do the Unit testing, Integration testing and Model Office testing. After that it is moved to Production.

Also, was involved in a Proof of Concept project where I did R & D wortk on tools like Ab Initio and BRE.

2nd Project Duration : Sept 2011 to till date

Role : Ab Initio – Developer

Project Introduction : Currently I am a part of a Telecommunication Project in which we are replacing the current EDW of the client with a pure new enhanced EDW with better performance. We have releases coming in Jan,2012.

Responsibilties : I have been working as an An Initio developer and have got more confidence in developing graphs for applications. I have worked on 4 different subject areas in this long duration. Have got a good understanding in Ab Initio by working as core developer.
