Manage 13 accumark marker makers at 3 locations as well as 100 employees in
2 separate plants with 2 shifts. Moved marker and cutting departments
deliveries to a 3 and 2-day throughput from a 10 and 6-day throughput.
Effectively removing 2 weeks off throughput time on the production floor.
PPE (Protective Products Enterprises) - Plant Manager, St. Pauls, NC
February 2012 - July 2012, Promoted to Plant Manager for a 6 month period
to wrap up production and transfer all processes and products from
St.Pauls, NC to Florida locations.
MSA/Paraclete: St. Pauls, NC. July 2007 - January 2012; Cutting Department
Supervisor III, Responsible for all aspects of Armor cutting and assembling
as will as planning production flow for entire plant to support
productivity and on time delivery goals. Increased productivity from 49% in
2008 to 78% in 2011, Drove first pass yield in Armor department to 98.9%
and moved on time deliveries to customers to 96.8%.

new products), Industrial Engineering functions throughout plant, handling
customer quality concerns utilizing structured root cause analysis
techniques and managing productivity/quality projects as required.
Plant Superintendent, 2nd Shift (April 1996 - September 1997),
Reporting to the Production Manager, responsibilities included coordination
of all manufacturing activities on 2nd and night shifts to meet production
schedules. This included management of three supervisors who directed 150
hourly employees and direct supervision of one assembly line consisting of
19 hourly employees. Responsible for all quality, safety, human resources
and maintenance decisions for 2nd and night shifts.
Production Engineering Supervisor (August 1993- April 1996)
Reporting to Manager of Facilities/Production Engineering, responsibilities
included leadership and appraisal of the activities of five production
engineers, review of all new and existing product routings, review of all
new product quoting and project management assignments. Major projects
include manufacturing facility start-ups, shut downs and transfer of
product manufacturing between facilities, development of internal product
introduction and approval system.
Industrial Engineer/Lead Industrial Engineer (August 1988- April 1993)
Reporting to Industrial Engineering manager, responsibilities included new
product costing, development of new routing program for use with a
Macintosh system, upkeep of production routings for O.E.M. speakers,
project manager for implementing new speaker production line, project
manager for implementing new speaker designs into production, design of
experiment projects, line layouts and balancing, FMEA development and
maintenance and developing workstation/work cells for pilot runs.

Manufacturing Engineer Reporting to Manufacturing Engineer Manager,
responsibilities included work measurement for entire plant, up-keep of
production routing system, monitoring and correction of bill of material
