A web based CRM (Customer Relationship
Management) application was developed to
maintain the customer information, contact
details, Leads, Opportunities, Activity
management, etc. It helped sales people to
maintain their contact information, track
their leads, manage the active opportunities
and to keep track of the outcomes of their
meeting with the clients using Activity
management. It helped the management to keep
track of sales pipeline, forecast sales and
better understanding of various client
requirements.
Responsibilities:
Written extensive test cases after analyzing the
Specifications Documents (SRS).
Performed Integration Testing among Customer information, Contacts, Leads,
Opportunity and Activity management modules.
Developed automated scripts using QuickTest to perform Regression Testing
Managed all the QuickTest scripts in Quality Center to execute and report
results.
Responsible for reporting defects using Quality Center tracking system and
verified known defects using new builds.
Regression tests were performed after every bug fix and system enhancement.

Role: QA Analyst
The scope of the project was to implement the Financial Accounting system. The
project contained 3 major modules, namely General Ledger, Invoice Verification
and Fixed Asset management. General Ledger system was designed to keep record
of daily accounting entries, generation of various reports like daily Trial
Balance, monthly Income statement and Balance Sheet. Fixed Asset system was
developed to keep track of various information related to Assets like date of
acquisition, book value, location, tag number, etc. It provided an ability to
maintain various assets by Asset classes and related depreciation. Invoice
Verification system automated the vendor Invoice verification against PO
(Purchase Order) and GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Vendor payments and vendor
invoice accounting. Sales tax, freight and other surcharge validations were
also handled by the system.
Responsibilities:
Analyzed User requirements specifications and
impact of the business process changes.
Creating test plans and test cases from impact analysis review and the
requirements.
Developing and documenting test cases for functional, integration tests.
Performed Manual and Automated testing of application modules.
Involved in functional and integration testing of Invoice Verification and Fixed
Assets.
Perform Sub-system functional testing, integration testing, and performance
testing.
Extensive Regression Testing, using WinRunner, after every new build and document
the results.
Used Test Director for Test Management, Bug Tracking, and Reporting enhanced
Regression Tests.
Involved in load, stress and performance testing of the module on the net using
LoadRunner by creating VUGen for different scenarios.
