Resume:

Objectives

My goal is to find a growth oriented company that is willing to do what it takes to be successful in the future. My accomplishments have been many in my current line of work. None of this would have been possible without the ability to think outside the box and master the art of strong leadership and diplomacy skills.

Education

08/31/2010 | Masters Degree in Business Administration w/Emphasis in Homeland Security Resource Allocation

• I am currently an MBA Candidate with American Military University. I have completed all coursework for degree and waiting to take final exams. The final exams will be complete by the end of August. My final GPA is 3.78 and I will graduate with honors.

Experience

05/2005 - present | Senior Operations Non-commissioned Officer

United States Army

With the 1st Infantry Division Band I have been the Operations Non-commissioned Officer In-Charge. My duties include supervising the organizing and planning of missions for the band. This will include events in the local community and off-post. For all off post travel, I would supervise the planning of the mission from start to finish to include: hotels, airline tickets, rental vehicles, and management of government travel cards and the Defense Travel System.

My other duties for the band included being the Defense Travel System Administrator and the Citibank Government Credit Card Coordinator. I had access to millions of dollars of the governments money and was able to account and have a 100% success rate each time. I was personally responsible for booking and being responsible for over $250,000 of travel and travel related expenses. I also was responsible for maintaining records of each person's Citibank credit card. I made sure the cards were turned on before travel and audited accounts for misuse. I was responsible for having my files up to date because there were random audits done by the division level credit card administrator.

Currently I have been in Iraq for 5 months and have taken the lead in all operations functions for the band. I am responsible for arranging all travel here just as I did at Fort Riley, but there are additional responsibilities. I also arrange all travel via helicopter. Flight will get cancelled at the last minute and it's my job to see the band is booked on other flights and to have good public relations with the General's staff. We occasionally will have to ask the General for approval to use his helicopters for our missions.

This takes delicate negotiations with high level staff to make this happen.

I have received the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (3rd award), and the Good Conduct Medal. One of my awards was directly related to the way I coordinated and supervised the planning and execution of a mission to Chicago, Illinois.

I am respected among my seniors, peers, and subordinates alike. I will be happy to provide any references upon request. (Contact Supervisor: Yes, Supervisor's Name: First Sergeant David Fallin, Supervisor's Phone: DSN 858-4652)
