Military Experience

Completed three and a half years active duty with the 101st Airborne Division Ft. Campbell, KY as a combat engineer (21B) in the US Army.

Served in Operation Iraqi Freedom 2009 to 2010 specializing in route clearance and training the Iraqi Army.

Received an honorable discharge from active duty on 28 Feb 2010.

Currently a National Guardsman with Alpha Company 206 Engineer Battalion, based out of Marion, KY.

 Shawnee Community College: Received General Educational Development Diploma Nov 2004.

 Combatives Level I: Received certification in hand to hand combat techniques Nov 2007.

 Mine Detector Course: Training and certification on mine detection equipment specifically the AN/PSS-14 Mar 2007.

 Military Equipment Operators Course: Certified in performing vehicle operation and PMCS on the HMMWV Series truck Feb 2007.

 Combat Life Savers Course: Received certification in performing tactical combat casualty care Jan 2008.

 Route Reconnaissance & Clearance Course: Certified in the detection, investigation, marking, reporting, and neutralization of Explosive Hazards (EH) and other obstacles along a defined route Jan & Apr 2008.

 Combat Communication School: Training and certification for SINCGARS, Satellite, and Multiband Radios April 2008.
