Quality Assurance Manager and “hands on” Assembly Supervisor with more than twenty years proven track record overseeing all manufacturing processes of precision helical gears, shafts, and gearbox housings. This included complete assembly and testing which required precision alignments, plumbing, and electrical installations. Many of these drives are used in paper mills. Direct and manage daily activities for the effectiveness of the plant's quality assurance function throughout the 80,000 sq. foot facility. Coordinated and worked with Customers, Engineering and Marketing Departments providing technical support to meet and fulfill customer expectations. Provide guidance and instructions to shop employees regarding compliance issues.

• Implemented Vibration Analysis Program for large industrial helical gear drives optimizing accuracy gear of mesh by more than 20%.

• Developed teams to identify process deficiencies which led to manufacturing quality improvements of more than 40% and significant productivity increases.

• Led teams in failure analysis on drives units and components both in the plant as well as in the field.

• Worked with suppliers on reducing non-conformances as much as 30%.
