Responsible for the maintenance of various refrigeration, a/c and H.V.A.C plant at various industrial/commercial sites including nuclear power stations, gas terminals, food factories, plastic factories, scientific research facilities and supply ships for the petro/chem industry.
Making recommendations for plant modifications and advising customers on new plant maintenance schedules.
Attending sites to diagnose/repair faults mechanically and electrically on a daily basis. Part of a 24 hour call out team liaising with customers and on-site engineers.
Responsible for the training of apprentices.
2008-2010 Sizewell A PowerStation, Operations Technician
Responsible for monitoring and operating various areas of the plant including water treatment, emergency diesel generators, air compressors, air dryers and H.V.A.C plant.
As a competent person (NR) & (E&M) I was responsible for signing onto/receiving safety documents and leading working parties.
Member of Emergency Response Team (ERT) in which I had several roles including fire team member and completed training courses at Petans.
2010-date Sizewell B PowerStation, Operations Technician
Training on site specific areas of plant including nuclear physics and pressurised water reactor operation. Part of the Radwaste operations team.
