Engineering Projects:
Electrolytic Strip Tank (Rochelle Salt Bath)- Developed a program to take the place of cyanide strip tank to reduce environmental impact using costumer approved processes and ISO standards. Designed experiments to prove the viability of moving all cyanide stripping into the electrolytic tank.
Airflow Bench- Proved out a concept through experimentation and data collection. Determined the best way to use the equipment, while still following the standards that were set forth by a customer, while keeping costs and time use to a minimum. Trained others on how to use the equipment.
Small Wind Turbine Capstone- Designed, tested, and built a collapsible portable wind turbine. Lead the testing to ISO standards, and was fully involved in the design and building of the wind turbine.
Design of Four-Bar Three Position Linkage- Utilized Solid Works to design and do motion analysis of a 3-D model which was then built. The model was designed with two stalls for welding and a loading/unloading position, using a single, constant speed motor.
