Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Education

I ordered and distributed scrubs, lab coats, medical supplies, books and supplies for students, using the Point of Sales program, and CampusVue. I filled out requisition forms and also Purchase Orders.

I ordered office supplies and kept records of distribution. I kept copy machines running and called when service was needed.

I organized graduation ceremonies and Program Advisory Committee meetings, from finding a venue, to making sure everything ran smoothly before, during and after ceremony.

I filled out Perfect Attendance and Dean’s List Awards, using Excel spreadsheets and mail merging documents.

I documented student surveys, using Excel spreadsheets, enabling instructors to see where they could make improvements in their classrooms.

I called doctor’s office to arrange appointments for injured workers. I typed letters to inform the injured workers, insurance adjusters, attorneys and doctors of the appointments. I sent letters and records to the doctors. After the appointment, I called the doctor’s office to verify that injured worker was at appointment.

Once the report was received, I reviewed it, and sent to the adjuster.

I billed insurance companies in CareMC and Advocacy. I followed up on payments, making sure we are paid, so then I can get the doctors paid.

On a daily basis, I talked with injured workers, doctors, lawyers, and adjusters, in order for everyone to receive what they need to resolve the issue.

I scanned records and emailed to the doctors so they could make and informed decision.

I trained another IME coordinator, due to additional workload.

I worked with Microsoft programs on a daily basis.
