Career Summary

Eleven (**) years of extensive professional experience in shop fabrication and construction

involving Quality Assurance / Quality Control inspection, documentation and related

activities of various steel structures/piping/piplines and welding of marine construction industries and manufacturing.

Task :

Direct, supervise and participate inspection activities to assure product quality.

Monitor the consumables control, monitor joint preparation, welding activities, pre-weld and post weld dimensional control and others test which required.

Issue notification for the activities which needed clients witness/hold point.

Prepare visual reports and review the NDT reports before submit to Client.

Maintain records and ensuring that all welds and other test required are inspected and documented. Update traceability of material and weld control.

Review the job completed and the NDT requirement is full filled as per the specification prior to release for painting.

Appraise product quality in accordance with the Project Quality Plan, ITP, and determine conformity and nonconformity.

Positive Material Identification, Ferrite measurement and Hardness testing.

Coordinate interface with fabrication, welding department, Project Engineer and Client assuring conformity to specification.

Liaise with Project Engineer /Welding Engineer and Client to ensure quality problem are addressed and technically resolved.

Prepare QC weekly reports and attend the weekly meeting with the client.

Final Documentation and review the data book prior to load out.
