Responsible for leading a team of senior and junior level programmers through development and modifications of the banks software system. This included teaching AS/400 and RPG/400 skills to junior level programmers, organizing and developing class material, writing technical specifications, and assisting with daily assignments.
Development and customization to the banks software system using RPG/400, Query/400 and CL. Programs written included sub-file processing, screen designs, reports, and batch update processing.
Responsible for programming and project management of six conversions from various platforms to the core banking database. RPG/400 programs were developed for the migration of demand deposit, savings, certificate deposit, and loan accounts.

Responsible for Project Management of various projects. This included assisting the client in determining the requirements needed, preparing proposals, writing technical specifications, delegating programming tasks and implementing the project at the clients site.
AS/400 Security Officer in charge of creating and updating user profiles, setting up communications, and installing of new releases and PTFs from IBM.
Development and customization of an Order Entry System on the AS/400 using COBOL and CL. EDI experience obtained for multiple document types.
Received Employee of the Quarter award for August 1995 for working long hours to recover the AS/400 after a disk failure.
Received Employee of the Quarter award for February 1996 for working on multiple projects without missing deadlines and assisting programming staff with technical issues.
