Dear Hiring Executive:

I am currently working as an Employment Specialist at a non-profit organization by the name of Avenues to Independence in Park Ridge Illinois. As an Employment Specialist, I customize Individual Employment Plans for adults with developmental disabilities, job retention, development and coaching for individuals seeking employment opportunities in their communities. In addition to my Employment Specialist experience, I also contract my services as an Instructional Designer/Instructor for other non-profit organizations that provide programs for low-income and senior populations. My last contract, a multi-million dollar federally funded grant, prepared participants for applications and interviews with private sector employers. The grant provided funds to train job seekers in computer literacy, job readiness and customer service.

My education and professional background have provided me with extensive organizational and managerial experience. For instance, during my practicum at Walgreen Corporate Office I conducted a thorough needs analysis of existing multimedia Photofinishing Training, developed photo equipment web based training solutions and assisted in developing training documentation (on-line and paper based) to help Walgreen employees master new systems. Furthermore, my Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development has given me a comprehensive education in integrated training, organizational development, instructional design and evaluation of programs to improve individual productivity, employability, job satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.

I am reliable and dependable and take great pride in my performance as a professional. I am committed to working hard and seeing the challenges I accept lead to successful outcomes. In addition, I am an energetic team player who works well with co-workers and colleagues. I look forward to meeting with you to further discuss my qualifications and talk with you in detail about the position. Please feel free to contact me at 773-***-**** or email at ******.*****@*******.*** Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Necole R. Mills
