description Temperature monitoring and controlling is an essential process in the continuous process industries. Starting from the various storage of the different chemicals to their cracking and distillation ,temperature plays an a very important role in all chemical these process. The total process consist of two major parts , such as sensing the of temperature and hence controlling of the same using a real time controlling software. In this work am going to use the LABVIEW software. LABVIW means the Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Work Bench. In this project am going to monitor the temperature monitoring and controlling using the sensor and microcontroller. The embedded controller reads the temperature and it will transferred to PC via the serial port. Every second update the current value and it displays the LABVIEW. If there is any abrupt condition occurs in the temperature of the chemical it will turn ON the alarm to indicate the critical situation. The scope of the project is to reduce the human errors and increase the efficiency of the petrochemical industries. The software used to monitor the and control the process is LABVIEW which is very user friendly and a non programmer can use it efficiently without any difficult.
