- Analyzed ergonomic requirements and specifications of seated sub-assembly workstation

- Examined NIOSH equation and presented solutions for inspection workstation

- Modified the lifting tasks and improved the lifting operations to avoid cumulative trauma disorders

Rapid Test Card Reader L.D. College of Engineering

Jan 2010 – June 2010

- Designed and constructed a prototype of rapid test card reader using a photo-sensitive device

- Collaborated with a team to investigate the result of the test card which shows whether the test is positive or not and

whether the test card was invalid

- Interviewed by DNA newspaper and the project work article was published

ACADEMIC RESEARCH: Wright State University

Presented ways to reduce time and wastage of materials in the production parts handling using six sigma principles and tools such as DMAIC, pareto chart, flow diagram and fishbone diagram

Investigated and presented the idea to redesign existing pill bottles using ergonomic guidelines and principles to eliminate the problems such as inconsistent labeling, poor color combinations, bottle shape and font size that lead to medication errors

Researched and presented the improvements,ultimately implemented by the company, utilizing different lean tools and techniques such as poka-yoke, kanban, kamishibai and one-piece flow
