A multimedia software and web development company. Products include Glo, a multimedia interactive software application, and LightsTogether.com, a group-centric social network.

Vice President of Product Development

Reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for managing all day-to-day operations and product development activities including application development, content development, customer service, and IT infrastructure support. Duties and accomplishments include:

• Managed the formation of a new business team with a staff of 25 to develop the Glo software application. This included hiring of new personnel and development of multi-level management structures across all disciplines with personnel in remote global locations. This structure facilitated the rapid development of a highly complex, content and media rich desktop application.

• Launched the Glo application in October 2009. It immediately placed 13th in its category on Amazon.com, and had nearly 30,000 registered users by January 1, 2010. Awarded Bible of the Year from ECPA, and Christian Resource Media Product of the Year in May 2010.

• Planned, negotiated and oversaw the implementation of datacenter systems and operations. This included high-availability, scalable, development and production environments linked to cloud content delivery networks. Secure local and remote backup servers were implemented to protect company IP.

• Coordinated the development of detailed project plans from original concept to gold master delivery across development, content, marketing, animation, and video production teams. The resulting plan allowed the company to quickly and effectively react to technological and economic challenges, keeping the project on track.

• Implemented development processes (following SCRUM methodologies) and a firm release schedule. This increased the accuracy and quality of releases (average post release bugs dropped by 50%), and increased the productivity of the development team. It also allowed the product team to effectively manage release feature sets in a fast-paced development environment.

• Defined requirements for, and worked with vendors to purchase and implement an enterprise-level infrastructure to support the launch and anticipated growth of the LightsTogether.com social network.
