Most recently Served as a Signal Corps Officer. Responsibilities included: working on Computer networks using Cisco switches and servers in the IT department, and operated professional Audio and Video recordings. Received certification to teach various classes according to Military standards. While in the Army I became proficient in both TurboCAD and Pro Engineer Computer Animated Design programs. Big name stars I’ve engineered for at Audio Productions, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Jewel, Alan Jackson, Natalie Grant, James Otto, Montgumery Gentry, Barry Scott, and Julianne Hough. During the last three years of college, worked Freelance on several projects including: striping digital timecode to analog tape to create Digital Master Multitrack sessions for different labels throughout Nashville. Digital Multitrack sessions that I have include sessions from the Doobie Brothers, Queen, Def Leppard, Nine Inch Nails and Radio Head.

Additional experience included working on over 30 short films as a Post Production Audio Engineer. These videos included multiple video and audio file formats. I worked with a variety of different types of Lossy and Lossless video compression formats depending on the delivery requirements.

Started Murphree and Oeltmann Forensic Audio Specialists Company. Hired by the Nashville Local Polce, FBI, and local criminal lawyers to perform speech recognition, acoustical gunshot analysis, and Audio to Video Authentication.

Extra Curricular Activities During College:

Completed NASA SATS Aerospace Flight Program – I was one of the first pilots to test and do research on the state of the art Garmin 1000 flight computer in a full glass cockpit DA-40. Received Private Pilot and Instrument licenses in one college semester.

Ranger Challenge – Participated three years in intercollegiate events with MTSU securing third place once and Second Place at Fort Jackson two years in a row, Co-Captain senior year.

ROTC – Coordinated FTX (Field Training Exercise) weekends. Ran Rappel Towers, Instructed Hand to Hand Combat classes, Also Operated as an S-5 (Staff Officer) where the main goals were to present a Professional image by synchronizing music using digital timecode to movies of high speed army training. Utilized professional audio for a multitude of projects.

Airborne Qualified – 3.5 week training course with the United States Army jumping out of a variety of different airplanes at 1250 feet with full combat gear.

Leadership Development Advanced Course – 32 Day training course with the United States Army in which I was evaluated on my skills as an Army Officer. While being evaluated I received the Recondo award which was given out to the top 2% of the class.

Leadership Development Advanced Course as Cadre – 32 day training course as an operations officer. My duties were to instruct and evaluate over 412 college students and their potential in becoming an Army Officer. I taught a couple different classes on different audio techniques. I wrote and presented over 100 Operations Orders which consisted of movement to, equipment, time management, mission, training of, safety, and movement back to our area of operations for all 412 students.
