Mechanical Engineer

July 2007 to June 2010 – Vector Aerospace, Andalusia, AL

Performed mechanical engineering duties to support design projects from minor repairs, modifications or upgrades to fully developed Supplemental Type Certificate projects. Projects included avionics upgrades, glass cockpits, power distribution, and cockpit redesigns. Worked with TH-57, TH-67, Bell 206, UH-1H, EC-135, BK-117, Bell 429 and BO-105. Ensured ITAR compliance of all design data. Implemented SolidWorks and PDM software into the organization. Developed initial programming of engineering change control system. Served as design checker for other mechanical/electrical engineers and designers. Provided technical support to production personnel.
