MEDHOST is the market leader in providing an Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) that makes the hospital a more efficient environment by reducing medical errors, increasing patient throughput, producing higher patient satisfaction scores and maximizing revenue. It’s a touch screen based system which meets the needs of Emergency Departments of any size. It has been implemented almost 200 hospitals all across US.

Key Accomplishments:

 Involved in requirement gathering with clinicians and converting it into requirements.

 Implemented Computer Physician Order Entry system (CPOE) with drug to drug allergy verification, Sullivan’s risk management and Consult Order features. This module is closely associated with other area of the application like creating triggers, pagers, etc.

 Worked end to end implementation of interfacing pharmacy orders through various pharmacy systems. This interface messages follow HL7 standards.

 Worked on various security features like password encryption, logging audit trail to get CCHIT 08 certification.

 Involved in the development of tools to create medication by interfacing with FDB (First Data Bank) database. Various rules are applied while creating medication, to avoid clinical errors.

 Ported EDIS from VC++6.0 to VC++9.0.

 Lead the effort for implementing Voice flow through orders and testing the end to end functionality. Designed, developed and tested Web services for Voice Order Flow Thru and I2O calls.

EOrdering System is a web based application where people and businesses can order phone services online.

 Involved in the conversion of CSR (customer service record) from various legacy systems into one central system. This functionality was implemented in C#.

 Designed and implemented Real Time Interface (RTI) package using VC++/ATL/COM, which talk with various legacy systems through different COM components.

 Developed and designed a tool to compare data's between different Legacy systems. XML and XLS are used to send and receive data between components.
