Integration Test Engineer, Kaztronics contracted to Verizon, Richardson, TX December 2006 – Present
Perform lab provisioning, integration verification and load testing in a lab environment to ensure no adverse affects from new software patches, new hardware and new product deployments. Provide mission critical testing to verify software loads on Broadsoft, ACME session border controllers, internal proxy and redirect servers and internal provisioning platforms. Recent test efforts include setup and integration testing for EMEA and APAC customers. Key Achievements:
• Developed a suite of test cases in Mercury Quality Center then automated the regression portion which lowered the overall test cycle time for new BroadSoft software loads.
• Responsible for administration of and testing with Abacus 5000 test equipment.
VoIP Test Engineer, tekVizion, Richardson, TX February 2006 – December 2006
Perform integration and verification lab testing on a wide variety of VoIP end user equipment. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation for test plan development, testing to verify adherence to RFC specifications and verification of interoperability with other equipment. Switch Engineer, XO Communications (Formerly Nextlink Communications), Plano, TX 2000 – 2006
Provide performance and protocol conformance lab testing for Sonus softswitch IP- and TDM-based network infrastructure. Configure, install, and test network equipment and peripherals in concert with multiple cross-functional departments. Provide tier-3 technical support and collaborate daily with field technicians to handle complex issues escalated by tier-2 support representatives. Liaise with equipment vendors, reporting problems with and ensuring timely and accurate repair of network equipment. Create and maintain test plans to ensure continued functionality of network equipment. Draft and regularly update training documentation for high-level equipment upgrade/maintenance procedures. Key Achievements:
