Diverse 26 years of Oil & Gas experience including Mechanical Maintenance, Construction, EPC Project Management, Business Development, and Sales & Marketing

Well rounded 26-year Oil & Gas career started with Qatar Petroleum in Plant Maintenance and EPC Project Management. As the client, there was extensive interaction with local and international contractors, service providers, and suppliers.

Working as Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with Qatar Chemical Company (QCHEM), provided opportunity to work directly with Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPC) Personnel who joined QCHEM from CPC plants from the USA, mainly Houston area. Working in QCHEM provided direct interaction with the EPC contractors who built the QCHEM plant (a J.V. of Kellogg Brown and Root / Technip) and the main construction contractors, CCIC and Dodsal.

My work as Sales and Marketing Manager presented experience in providing Business Development Support to International Contractors and Manufacturers working on the major EPC opportunities that took place in Qatar during that period. This gave me very good understanding of the business processes involved with the EPC contracting and how the EPC contractors view their priorities.

Establishing SELWAD Industrial Services and National Oil & Gas Services, was a continuation of the Operations and Maintenance activities learned from working in QCHEM and Qatar Petroleum. This provided good business management experience and stronger skills and understanding of financial and business management.
