Strategic Sourcing Analyst/Software Asset Manager

I created a company model of ISO19077 defining the Asset Management processes and policies.

My projects plans included product management by vendor for each software product. I checked the product license contract, compliancy issues, Business Unit usage demands, License reconciliation/audit verification, vendor negotiation for plus/minus license counts for software maintenance and payment processing. I performed i-procurement processes for Software Licenses and Software Maintenance via the Oracle Financials family of products. I negotiated with Software vendors and implemented purchased/leased licenses into a lifecycle plan managing the Software until the licenses were disposed. I reviewed the licenses annually to assure the license is compliant to the contract agreement as well as work with Business Unit Managers to verify the need still exists. I worked with the finance department on budgeted costs and negotiated with Software vendors on discounting maintenance costs and reported software savings to management via SharePoint. I provided Software product reconciliation reports showing the software usage to management via Excel import from various products. I analyzed usage during software audits verifying the software is compliant. I worked with Oracle Financials, Eracent, MS Office Products, SharePoint, Siebel Asset, Change, Time, and Problem Support/Resolution Management packages.

As a Systems Programmer I installed/Maintained CICS/TS System applications, Installed 3rd party Mainframe Software Products.
