Validation Engineer working at APP Pharmaceuticals, Barceloneta, P.R.
Commissioned a laboratory facility for oncologic product testing. Validated an Air Handling unit and an air exhaust EPA filter unit. These validations included the equipment and their control systems. Commissioned a Steris Finn - Aqua sterilizer. Validated a stability room. Worked in the validation of a filter integrity tester. Wrote two SOP’s for the filter integrity tester.

Senior Engineer
Worked in the control system validation of a blood pack assembly machine that has an Allen Bradley 5000 PLC with three CPU’s, two industrial computers (one of these computers is a wireless tablet pc), and seven embedded pc’s. Worked in the validation of the control system for a WFI system. Also worked in the process validation of radio frequency welding machines, tabs sealers, and a vision system. Performed FMEA’s. Worked closely with equipment manufacturers and contract services suppliers.

Validated two Kiefel Radio Frequency Sealer machines control systems. The main control system components for these machines included: Allen Bradley Logix 5555 PLC’s, Versa View 1600 W Industrial computers and Allen Bradley Panel View 600 OIT’s. Validated a Twist Off Protector (TOP) installer machine control system. Validated a Weiler Rotary labeler control system and performed the commissioning activities for the same equipment.
