o Installment sales to intentionally income tax defective grantor trusts;
o A complex gift transaction involving the creation of a net gift agreement and several intentionally income tax defective grantor trusts to which the donor made significant gifts and entered into net gift agreements with each trustee to pay a proportionate share of the gift taxes attributed to each gift; and
o The creation of charitable lead annuity trusts and charitable remainder unitrusts.
• Research estate, gift and income tax issues and draft memoranda regarding the same.
• Drafted client advisories for distribution to clients. Authored article published in December, 2011 issue of Cleveland BAR Journal.
• Developed and maintained estate planning forms on “Hot Doc” system, and analyze Ohio and Florida laws to keep forms current.
