Summary of Experience

Two years of process engineering design experience and four years of environmental engineering experience. Process engineering design experience was mainly in the field of gasification, gas processing and refinery process. Have signficant experience in gasification plant design and a great understanding of the coal gasification process. Have working knowledge with flexicoking process and refinery process. Familiar with the different refinery units and their functions. Have great environmental engineering experience especially in the field of solid waste management and site remediation. Associate Process Engineer

Project: Texas Energy Gasification Project for Eastman Chemical Company

Produced Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams for the Shift and Ammonia Stripper Units. Developed heat and material Balances and equipment process datasheets. Developed instrumentation process datasheets for a range of pressure safety valves and thermal safety valves. Developed utility flow diagrams to show the utility requirements for each unit in the plant. Participated in internal PFD, P&ID and PreHA reviews as well as joint reviews with the client. Compiled a design basis narrative for the Shift and Ammonia Stripper units. Compiled a process control narrative to be used as a guide for the different process control modes of configuration. Performed economic analysis and cost saving activities to aid in project progress and help the client achieve their project budget.

Carson Marketplace Project (June 2007 – March 2008)

Engineered and managed daily activities at the Carson Marketplace project. Compiled weekly progress reports to keep the client informed of the work schedule. Monitored daily construction activities, gas well and probe installations at the site. Provided technical review of design plans for landfill gas extraction and treatment systems at the site. Executed project goals and deliverables successfully and on schedule. Compiled final site analysis reports and documented results and provided recommendations on how to treat the landfill gas.

Various Landfill Gas Sites throughout California (August 2003 – June 2007)

Major Clients: San Bernardino County and County of Orange (20+ hrs)

Project engineering and management. Compiled reports of landfill gas emission systems for a variety of clients. Directly involved in the development of landfill gas permitting plans.

Directly involved in the development of job proposals for a variety of Waste Management Clients. Conduct material and energy balance calculations on various landfill gas systems (Flare systems, Blower systems, and Carbon adsorption systems). Conduct weekly site visits to ensure operations safety and record any equipment or system malfunctioning. Directly involved in remediation processes (SCAQMD Rule 1150.1). Rule 1150.1 ensures emission safety and emission limits are within the acceptable range of parts per million. Provided technical review of design plans for landfill gas extraction and treatment systems at landfill facilities throughout California. Reviewed engineering design calculations and quality control of design plans. Prepared reports documenting SCAQMD Rule 1150.1 monitoring efforts.

Prepared reports for the procurement of equipment and parts needed for landfill gas system modifications. Prepared work orders and job setups for various non-routine work that are performed on landfill gas sites throughout California and Arizona.
