Manage service agreements for all the major equipments like chiller units, emergency generator, boilers/water heaters, elevators, etc. Team worked in building renovation projects for the San Juan Grand and the Inter-Continental.

Project Manager:

I was responsible of the field work schedule, planning, track and supervision of general contractor and sub-contractors. The renovation included the construction of new building area, new air condition systems, emergency generator, water supply system, electric sub-station, elevator work, fire control system, energy system control, ground site renovation, all building electricity, reconstruction of all guest rooms and internal facilities, among others.

Director of Engineering:

In charge of daily hotel operation and utilities maintenance of 225 guest rooms. Had one supervisor and six maintenance employees. Managed and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, public and recreational areas, all building systems, and maintenance service contracts. Schedule and developed safety trainings for department employees.

2005 - 2010 , Boston Scientific Puerto Rico

Senior Facilities Engineer

In charge of the daily operation of facilities and utilities maintenance of a 180k ft^2 building.

– In charge of the facilities and utilities maintenance.

– Handling and manage the capitals projects.

– Supervise 5 plant technician and 25 sub contracted employees and coordinates work with outside contractors.

– Create and up date maintenance procedures according to GMP’s.

– Coordinate in conjunction with other cross functional departments Plant re layouts.
