Position Description
• Organize, verify, re-verify, input and update Veterans’ insurance files.
• Communicates daily with the insurance companies to obtain current insurance information.
• Help facilitated the Northern California UR clerk to determine whether or not precertification/authorization is required for the patient’s inpatient and outpatient’s visit.
• Primarily concentrate on UR for San Francisco VA.
