It is based on a thin client on each of the counties computers and multiple application and database servers located in Lansing.
As Site Coordinator/Site Support for DHS:
• Set up Security/Profiles for eleven County Offices prior to go-live.
• Established business process impact documents on each county and create a gap analysis between old and new system.
• Provided site support, training and resolution of conversion issues at 6 County Offices.

• Created functional requirements and specs for order loading, ASN sending and bar coded shipping labels after gathering requirements from users.
• Developed programs in RPGILE order loading and shipping using embedded SQL.

As Site Coordinator/Site Support for FOC:
• Managed project for ten counties in the northern lower Michigan and upper peninsula for the county offices of the Friend of the Court.
• Established business process impact documents on each county and create a gap analysis between old and new system heavily relying on JAD sessions.
• Worked with teams at each county on training, change management and establishing new business practices.
• Created functional requirements any county change requests and enhancements. Work with state IT department on defect report, testing scenarios and documentation modification.

Responsible for creating and maintaining a custom shop floor execution system to interface with Mapics manufacturing module. Directly supervised two Programmer/Analysts, a Database Administrator and a Trainer. Managed a budget of $220,000.
As IT Manufacturing Business/Technical Analyst:
• IT Project Manager for implementing an ERP system at two manufacturing sites within six months. Within one month of conversion the “customer reliability” metrics increased from 70% to 100%. Project at both sites was on time with the help of JAD/RAD implementation techniques.
• Designed all new interfaces between Mapics Customer Order Management, I2 Factory Planner and Baan ERP streamlining Meridian system. Using AS400 iSeries platform, DB2, CLs and SQL. Performed unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Established business requirements with both executive manufacturing team and members of the cross functional implementation team to insure an effective software solution at 8 mfg sites within HMI using RUP concepts. TQM methodology was used throughout plant.
• Member of product feasibility team of Mercury Winrunner . My role was test analyst. Our goal was to envision where tool could be used in our testing process.
As IT Manufacturing and Distribution Team Leader
• Team lead for a team of six.
• Created custom shop floor execution system for all facets of manufacturing: fabrication, inventory management, quality reporting, assembly, shipping and distribution written in Progress GUI object oriented language and interfaced to Mapics using RPG transaction processing programs. Tested and trained shop floor on system.
• Lead hardware/software installation project at newly constructed manufacturing site in Spring Lake. Hardware consisted of PCs with Window2000.
• Spearheaded the implementation of I2 Factory Planner, a planning and scheduling software package that interfaces with Mapics, allowing orders to ship within one day versus one week (the industry standard).
• Implemented and maintained various technologies on shop floor, including Intermec RF guns, and touch screen computers, gaining competitive advantage in the manufacturing and distribution process using AS400 iSeries platform, RPG interactive sessions.

• Designed and implemented custom CRM software package (AS400 application written in RPG and VB ) for the Sales and Marketing team, improving retention of customer and dealer information to better prepare Sales/Marketing to meet customer needs.
