Duties included diagnosis, repair and maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic turrets, the manual gear box, the breach block, and the cradle assembly, removal and replacement of the gun tube, removed and replaced front and rear seals on the gun tube, removed and replaced elevation mechanism and servo component for the elevation of the gun tube, replaced hydraulic and manual drive system & brake system and removed and replaced the race ring requiring pulling the turret. Isolated causes of malfunctions, determined necessary repairs and performed final tests and inspections on these systems.
