1. Airtel 3g planning for Huawei in Bangalore & Karnataka Circle:-
Job Responsibility:-
1. Design of Link budget for voice/Data Services.
2. Nominal design of the using the 2G sites as a base and using the Path Loss calculated after Model tuning
3. Assess the priority of site candidates based on Site surveys. Final design of chosen sites based on technical visit.
4. Design of guidelines for Antenna selection, Antenna height, site to site distance, propagation model used.
5. Prepare Frequency plan for new sites taking care frequency interference from neighboring sites.

Responsibilities:
o Coordinate/Manage Transmission and BTS Engineers for 3G HSDPA Upgrade Deployment.
o Prepares a Summary of Data (HSDPA Upgrade Sites, Transmission Routes for Cross-Connection, Final HSDPA Configuration and RNC Iub Terminations as Planned) and Engineers’ Site Assignments on a daily basis, needed for an Organized and Synchronized Deployment.
o Coordination with Tellabs, Transmission and BTS Engineers, RIC Team during Transmission/Iub Cross-Connections, HSDPA Upgrades and Testing.
o Monitors Team Mobilization and HSDPA Upgrade Activity Progress.
o Coordination with RNC Planners for RNC Data-fill Updates and transmission Routes.
o Identification and Escalation of Blocking Issues that will delay the HSDPA Upgrade Implementation and Seek for Solutions to meet deadlines.
o Logistical Support on material forecast for Transmission Cross-Connections and HSDPA Upgrade.

o Planning of tentative BSC for the upcoming site in the rollout with the help of MAP INFO/M.COM tool.
o Checking of TRX availability in the BSC’s with the help of BSC dump.
o Checking of PCM availability and feasibility with Transmission for proper BSC plan.
o LAC planning for new sites. LAC splitting and defining the LAC boundaries in order to minimize the signaling load on the radio path.
o Responsible for CGI creation for the new sites both in switch and billing.
o Preparation of integration data for new sites and sending of the data to NOC for site creation.
o Parameter planning and evaluation in accordance with Traffic classes.
2. Drive test on TATA Docomo for Huawei in Kolkata and WB Circle.
Responsibility: -
Drive Test &Optimization for 2G and 3G, GSM 900/1800 MHz and 3G sites using TEMS Investigation 6.0, 8.0.and Genex probe. Genex probe1.5,1.51 and Genex assistant 1.5,1.51
Converting the drive test result to MapInfo Professional, MCOM format and to generate the report for taking action.
Involved in analyzing Coverage, Quality, and Handovers of the network and Height reduction of GSM Antenna.
Parameter Tuning and Optimization of Network as per design requirements.
Take clockwise and anti clockwise drive by taken short call and long call and check PN number of current serving site
watch parameter during drive and save log file.
Familiar in Data-Collection, Optimization tools and making ppt.
Doing GPRS Drive Test also checking speed up link and down link frequencies.
