• Responsible for purchasing all raw materials and bought finished products for DBHL Inc., which included the purchasing/planning of approximately 1500 imports from China, Taiwan, Korea, Germany and Italy for both DBHL Inc. and Oatey Co.
• Daily responsibilities included reviewing various reports to perform appropriate actions: MRP/DRP, Backorder, Sales to Forecast, and Open Purchase Orders.
• Reduced raw material inventory by approximately $875,000 (reduced safety stocks, identified slow moving/obsolete inventory and consolidated sku’s).
• Communicate the corporate needs to suppliers by expediting, de-expediting, and canceling orders.
• Resolved vendor/supplier issues as needed.
Warehouse Supervisor (2001-2003)
• Responsible for leadership and prioritizing warehouse replenishment order shipments, customer order shipments, receiving, pick line replenishment, safety, and housekeeping during 12-hour continuous operation shift.
• 10 full time direct reports and 8 full time temporary reports.
• Ensure a consistent flow of materials from manufacturing to distribution to the customers.
