Project 1:

Title : Cisco ROSA Video Service Manager. Duration : Since Jun’10.

Organization : Cisco Systems. Team Size : 9.

Technologies used : Java, OSGi, Hibernate, Spring and snmp4j .

Precise : Cisco ROSA Video Service Manager (VSM) is NMS software used to configure configuration in the video network (including encoders, multiplexers, decoders, etc). This application will help users to provision and de-provision user defined configuration into the device. This will also report conflict between current and new configuration.

Responsibilities : Analyse the device, Write Technical Specification about device driver, Development, Unit test using Junit and bug fixing.

Project 2:

Title : Open EMS Suite. Duration : Since Jan’08.

Organization : Nokia Siemens Networks. Team size : 8.

Technologies used : Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML & Netbeans.

Precise : It is a NMS product which can support multi vendor devices. There are mainly 3 components in this system. They are Configuration, Fault & Performance Management.

Handled logging improvement, Scope based authorization for Network Element (NE), Hierarchal OES and Automatic View Generation.

Project 3:

Title : NMS – Cisco QPM. Duration : May’06 to Jan’08.

Organization : HCL-Cisco. Team Size : 8.

Technologies used : Java, JSP, Servlet, EJB, QoS, SNMP and AJAX.

Precise : QoS Policy Manager (QPM) is a web based application that will Deploy, Upload and Monitor the QoS Commands on the device. Handled Command Service module that includes Device discovery, Command generation for each device, deploys the Commands to the device and Upload the QoS Commands from device to QPM. I also handled TelePresence wizard in the QPM4.0. SNMP was used for monitoring the traffic.

Title : NMS- Cisco DFM. Duration : Jun’05 to Apr’06.

Organization HCL-Cisco. Team Size : 4.

Technologies used : Java, JSP, Servlet and AJAX.

Precise : Device Fault Manager is a web based application which is used to monitor the faults in the devices. It uses SNMP for polling. I was Handling test automation of this product using IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT) which includes automating device support, fault history & device specific testing (including generating traps & alrams). This product has features like fault history, alerts, activities display and admin configuration.
