• Final year project in Cloud Computing entitled “IMPROVING UTILIZATION OF INFRASTRUCTURE CLOUDS”.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Objectives: To improve the utilization of infrastructure clouds by classifying users as on demand user and opportunistic users, detect frauds and leakage of files, automate the various services and manage the mechanism.

A key advantage of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) clouds is providing users on-demand access to resources. However, to provide on-demand access, cloud providers must either significantly overprovision their infrastructure or reject a large proportion of user requests (in which case the access is no longer on-demand).

We propose a cloud infrastructure that combines on-demand allocation of resources with opportunistic provisioning of cycles from idle cloud nodes to other processes.

Then detect the file leakage and identify the agent leaking it and keeping a control to access by modifying the data. The various automation processes is done for various services to manage the various mechanisms effectively.
