PROJECT DETAILS

Project name: Remote navigation control of pick and place robot using RF signal.

Team size: 4 members

Description: The idea of this project is to develop a Radio Frequency based Pick and Place robot. The user uses joystick to remotely control the movement of the robot. The keys on the joystick tell the robot to move forward or reverse, turn right or left, or stop. The cordless camera is used to capture the video data. The remote controlling of the robot provides actuating signal to the permanent magnet DC motors, which in turn rotate the wheels to provide directional motion of the vehicle as well as arm control of the vehicle. The path traced by the vehicle is visually detected using the camera mounted on the front side of the vehicle which is monitored using PC or TV.
