Objective

To obtain a full time Mechanical Engineering position in an engineering design and or manufacturing organization. To gain further career experience by being a part of a team involved in the engineering process.

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company-Mechanical Engineering Internship, May-July 2009

 Worked with a team of experienced mechanical engineers to complete various projects involving satellite spacecraft and their incorporated systems including torque margin analysis and shipping container design.

 Received tasks relevant to training with expectations of completing them in a timely a manner and with high quality.

 Gained insight into practices and procedures within a large engineering company, as well a basic understanding of the daily duties of a mechanical engineer within a corporation.

Camp Counselor/Teacher, Cranbury Arts Council Summer Camp- Cranbury NJ, Summers 2005-2007

 Created and ran programs on Rocketry, Robotics, Aviation, Self-Powered Cars etc. for youth ages 6-10; supervised up to 20 youth; made sure all participant needs were met.

College Activities

I-SIT (Villanova initiative within the Ifugao Providence, Philippines)- February 2009-2010

 Helped plan as well as participated in a three week long assessment trip to Ifugao to a make technical assessments on a micro-hydro electric plant as well as run a two day workshop on technology and entrepreneurship.

 Incorporated senior design project to design, test, manufacture, and implement a turbine for the micro hydro site to enable power to 100+ households surrounding the site.

 Guided and assisted locals in running the micro-hydro electric plant in a manner that ensures sustainability as well as functionality.

 Project received 3rd Place in the Villanova Senior Design Project Competition.

Villanova Club Ultimate Frisbee- Captain (2007-2010)

 Organized, handled paper work, arranged transportation + lodging for inter-collegiate tournaments.

 Conducted practices 2-4 a week and kept team members informed on all team events and activities.

Awards and Honors

Eagle Scout, Boy Scouts of America- Cranbury NJ, Troop 52, 2000-2006

 Involved actively in troop activities for over six years.

 Developed leadership and organizational skills through training, community service, and high adventure expeditions (e.g. scuba, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking), and Eagle Scout Project.

 Planned, proposed, and executed a service project that required organization and leadership of peers in renovating the local church's food pantry storage room.
