Successfully oversaw the start-up and development of two different contract manufacturing companies that both ultimately developed to include in excess of 150 employees.
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT:
Developed and successfully implemented a low cost region manufacturing plan utilizing both Mexico and China significantly reducing cost of various jobs and opening the door for new, lower cost model customers.
Successfully negotiated and established JIT/Kanban style contracts with suppliers reducing material cost and liability for both; while at the same time improving availability of raw material.
Developed and maintained a vendor qualification and grading system and regularly reported the results to suppliers.
Developed and adjusted standard cost metrics to track purchasing efficiency.
