Manages the daily operations of the plant (performance, costs, quality, safety, etc) Assures the facility is in complete compliance with MRT franchise requirements, all TCI policies and procedures, and federal and state agency laws and regulations. Participates as a member of the Manufacturing Leadership team, with responsibility for divisional related projects and processes.

Safety: Continually identify risks to personnel , equipment and product and implement solutions so down time is minimized and injuries to workers are avoided.

Quality: Conduct daily audits and support the annual MRT facility audit to achieve best in class product and service quality results. Assure delivery commitments are met.

Productivity: Manage the material/equipment/operator process to continually improve the units.

Staffing: Assure adequate manpower for forecasted demand with effective selection, coaching/training where necessary, disciplinary actions. Profit and Loss: Manage the operational elements of retread manufacturing to generate a positive OI and EBIT. Report performance against weekly and monthly goals.

Warehouse and Distribution Center: Schedules all freight shipments. Manages raw material and finished goods inventories. Provide cycle counts. Maintain accountability for meeting and exceeding customer orders and inventory accuracy.

Maintenance: Implemented company preventative maintenance program on all production equipment as well as all support equipment.
