• I was able to observe how a working podiatrist in his office cares for his patients. I saw routine foot care patients as well at foot checks for diabetic patients.

• In the clinic I was able to observe routine foot care, casting for orthotics, and the recovery of patients. I was able to see the care for ulcers and different types of wounds in the foot. I was also able to scrub in on five surgeries and assist in the wrapping of wounds by holding legs and getting dressings and equipment.
